These are the guidelines for submitting your art. They are written in plain language on purpose. If you have a question, please ask your coordinator before you submit.
Your art is yours
You own the art you submit, and you keep the copyright. Showing your work here does not give it away. We will never sell, print, or license copies of your art without your permission.
The work is your own
You made the work you are submitting, or you have the right to submit it. It is not copied from someone else.
It fits the values of the organization
Your work fits the values and the mission of the organization showing it. Nothing hateful, obscene, or harmful. If you are not sure whether a piece fits, ask first.
It is ready to hang
If your piece will hang in a physical display, it is framed or otherwise prepared so it can be hung safely and returned in good shape.
Every piece is reviewed first
A coordinator reviews and approves each piece before it goes on the website or into a physical display. Submitting a piece does not guarantee it will be shown.
You are 18 or older
Submitters must be 18 years of age or older. This is meant to be a program for adults.
Care, damage, and theft
We will take reasonable care of your work. Even so, the organization is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft while your piece is on display or in our keeping. If that matters to you, please keep your own insurance.
Picking up your work
When we ask, you agree to pick up your physical work promptly. If you do not pick it up within 90 days of our request, the organization may deal with the piece as it sees fit, at no cost and with no payment to you. That may include keeping and using it, donating it, selling it, or disposing of it. Because you still own the copyright, this does not include making or licensing copies of your art without your permission.
Keeping in touch
Your contact information stays private and is seen only by the coordinators. If you ever want your work taken down, just ask, and we will remove it from the website.
